Triumph Factory Racing and PHR Performance Set for World Sportbike

Triumph Factory Racing is pleased to announce that PHR Performance, by Peter Hickman Racing, and the Triumph Daytona 660 will take part in the all-new World Championship - the FIM Sportbike World Championship next season with Harrison Dessoy and Fenton Seabright as a Triumph Factory supported team.

Coming through the ranks in the British Championship, Dessoy has experienced success with the Triumph Daytona 660 having competed in the National Sportbike Championship this year with Hickman’s PHR Performance team. The Essex-based rider secured two wins and two podiums to finish sixth overall, after an injury brought his season to an early end.

Joining Dessoy on the Daytona 660 will be Seabright, who finished third overall in this year’s National Sportbike Championship after a strong season securing three wins and three podiums. The duo will line-up aboard the PHR Performance Triumph Daytona 660’s as the Louth-based outfit contests the inaugural World Championship.

Hickman has enjoyed a long-standing successful association with Triumph, competing Triumph machinery at the Daytona 200, the North West and the iconic Isle of Man TT Races. Hickman has also played a vital role in the race development of the Triumph Daytona 660, on which Richard Cooper won the first-ever National Sportbike Championship last season.

The first round of the 2026 FIM Sportbike World Championship takes place at Portimao on 27-29 March.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity for PHR Performance entering into a World Championship for the very first time, which was never really on the cards or a thought process I’d ever had. But the opportunity has arisen, and I think we’re in the strongest position we could ever be in, having worked with the Triumph Daytona 660 for two years in the British Championship. We won with Richard [Cooper] in 2024 and won a few races this year with Harrison, and if it hadn’t been for his injury we could have won the championship, so I don’t think we could be in a stronger position. We don’t know the circuits, but Fenton does and Harrison knows about half of them, but he knows the bike inside out, as do we. I’m really looking forward to it and having Fenton onboard, it’s a super young team; everyone is under 22 years old - the mechanics, electronics and the riders, so it’s going to be an exciting time not only for PHR Performance but also for all the boys and also Triumph.”
